BEARD ADVICE AND KNOWLEDGE

BEARD ADVICE AND KNOWLEDGE

They say that experience is the best teacher. As much as we agree with this statement, we took the liberty of gathering beard advice and knowledge from men all around the world, to save our beard family the hustle of learning from experience.
  1. Beard Style
While finding a beard style, there are a number of things that one needs to consider. These are; head shape, beard growth rate and patchiness.

When it comes to head shape, it is said that you should always aim for a beard style that makes your head and face look as oval as possible. This has been proven to look more attractive to the human eye.

Beard growth rate can also determine the style of your beard because the different lengths allow you to try out different styles. While in the first stages of growing your beard, you will probably have a patchy beard therefore, the best style for you would be the stubble. 1. Beard Oil
We cannot emphasize this enough. Beard oil is of the utmost importance when you’re trying to grow a beard and even as you maintain it. The beard gang knows this but we’ll say it again.

Beard oil helps in styling, moisturizing and taming the mane. When you go the extra mile and use beard wash, beard balm and the beard comb and brush, you get rid of dandruff and any dead skin and you get rid of that annoying itch that our bearded men know about all too well. Grooming leaves you with a healthy, shiny, clean, soft and beautiful beard.
  1. Food particles
As your beard grows, keeping food out of it gets harder and harder. This is one pesky problem that a lot of bearded men tend to complain about. Luckily for us, there are two simple ways to control or even prevent this altogether.
  1. Slow down!- Men have been known to eat faster and take bigger bites when they eat. This makes it easier for food to drip off your utensils or out of your mouth and into your beard. Try taking smaller bites and just being generally more careful as you eat.
  2. Comb your beard- combing your beard helps take out the little particles in your beard. Combing right after you eat will allow you to get the little crumbs out of your hair before they get deeper in it. The Mandevu comb is small and light and can fit right into your pockets so this should be easy to do after a meal.
There has been a lot of advice passed around in the beard community but these four tips seem to keep recurring and we completely agree with them! Do you have any advice for the beard fam? Let us know in the comment section below.
