THE ALL-ROUNDED MAN

THE ALL-ROUNDED MAN

Here, at Mandevu, we are all about advancing the lives of bearded men in every way- the way you feel is just as important as the way you look.

Many successful people swear by keeping a journal to record their tasks, feelings, thoughts, and experiences.

Here are a few benefits they have shared that come from keeping a journal:

  1. It reduces stress and anxiety

This may surprise you but it is true. A lack of direction and structure is a huge reason for stress and anxiety.  Our minds can run in loops for hours and hours and create more problems than solutions. Writing down your thoughts can be a great way to organize them. You might also find yourself writing down solutions that you had not thought of before.
2. It can inspire you
Who can inspire you better than you?
Writing down your visions and goals can help inspire you. We have so many passing thoughts and it is hard to remember each and every one of them.
There may be a million-dollar idea in that brain- write it down.
3. It can sharpen your memory
Remember in school when we were told to write notes as the teacher taught so that we would be able to recall? They weren’t lying. Writing something down signals to your brain that it is important and that you need to remember it.
4. It increases self-confidence
The more you write, the more you will see your own progress. Whether it is your feelings or your to-do lists, you will see how far you have come and it will motivate you to keep going.
5. It helps achieve goals
They say that the best way to know where you are going is to write it down first. This gives you a list of all the things you need to do in order to achieve your goal.
Ticking off items will give you a clear view of the next steps and it will feel incredible to tick off tasks as you go.
