BEARD FAQS

BEARD FAQS

  1. How do I grow my beard faster?

With all the actors, singers, athletes and hype around beards, we understand why this would be at the top of the list.
You can’t necessarily grow your beard faster, however, you can take steps to aid your beard growth and health. Here are some articles that can help you in this process.

2. Why is my grey coming in unevenly?
Grey hair represents the fact that the pigment cells in your hair follicles have stopped producing melanin. This process is mainly tied to your age and becomes more intense as you get older until your beard is completely grey.
That being said, it is unrealistic to expect your grey hairs to come in all at once. The period varies based on your genes, so there is no guidebook.
3. Do I need a beard brush/ can I use any brush on my beard?
Technically, you can use any brush on your beard. But, we would advise you to use a brush that is designated for your beard. This is mainly for two reasons:
  • Germs and particles from your head can easily be transferred if you use the same brush to comb your hair and your beard.
  • A good beard brush has medium to soft brittles which are essential in removing dead skin on your cheeks and chin. This brush should not cause any irritation and should stimulate the skin for healthy beard growth.

4. What is that little hair below my lip called?

This is commonly known as a soul patch or the imperial. It can be found right below the chin as well.
It is also referred to as a mouche which is French for a fly.
