Beard Tips for The Festive Season

Beard Tips for The Festive Season

From December 1st to January 1st, days like Jamhuri Day, Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, New Years are full of celebrations. This year is bound to be different for sure with all the safety guidelines we must adhere to in order to survive this pandemic. However, we can still have some safe fun social distancing, wearing masks and keeping those gatherings super small.

While you enjoy your festivities, here are some tips:

  • Schedule your beard care:

This is the time of the year where a lot of us are on leave, traveling, enjoying life as much as we can. We recommend you getting as much rest as you can during this period before the pressures of work and life start back up after the holidays. The one thing that should not take a break is your beard care. Remember, consistency is your best ally in your beard journey!
  • Wash your hands, wash your beard:

We have all heard the government directives to wash our hands. Well, the Mandevu directive is wash your hands, wash your beard.
We recommend that you use your beard wash 1-2 times a week for the best results. Lather your beard and gently scrub for about 3 minutes then rinse off with warm water and pat dry.
  • Moisturize your hands, moisturize your beard:

Have you noticed how much more ashy your hands have been since you started washing them 24/7 and sanitizing as well? This is a direct indicator of what is happening under your beard hair when you don’t moisturize it.
Beard oil and balm give both your beard hair and the skin underneath it the moisture that they need to grow and stay healthy.
  • Beard baubles :

plural noun: baubles
a small, showy trinket or decoration.
"clutch bags embellished with glittering baubles"

Spread some holiday cheer with these beard baubles or decorations on your beard. Share pictures with us so we can spread the cheer to the rest of our beard fam! Have you ever decorated your beard or would you be willing to do this? Let us know in the comment section below.
  • Gift:

Spread some love to your family and friends. You may not be able to meet and make merry like you have been doing in recent years, however you can spread the love through gifts. A Mandevu kit is an easy and thoughtful gift to purchase for the men in your life. Plus we deliver, ensuring that you stay home and stay safe.
