The last two years have been unpredictable to say the least. It has gotten to the point where people don’t even make resolutions anymore due to the fear of the unknown.

On the bright side, you can still have control over and plan for your beard resolutions this year.

Here’s a list of our suggested resolutions for this year;

  1. Grow a beard

This is for those of you who have always wanted to grow a beard and have no idea where to start. This is the time to do it. All you have to do is start. It’s as simple as that.
2. Grow your patience
For the beginners and those of you already in the beard fam, you will need to be ready for all the ups and downs of growing your beard.

You will also need to make sure that you maintain your routine – wash, moisturize and style. If you are consistent, you will definitely see a change. Don’t forget to take pictures and videos to help you keep track.
3. Grow your beard knowledge
You will need to learn all there is to learn about your beard. What style works for you, what products to use and how to use them, what foods you can incorporate into your diet that will promote hair growth among other important facts and tips that will help you as you grow and care for your beard.

4. Grow your relationship with your barber
A barber is not just good for your weekly fade. A good barber with an understanding of beard growth will also be an asset to your beard growth journey.
You should visit your barber at least once a month to trim and shape your beard. A professional barber shop will also have products and treatments to give your beard an extra boost in growth and appearance.

We can’t stress this enough, take at least one picture or video of your beard every month. This will allow you to track your growth and it will also show you how far you have gone in the growth process on those days where you need a reminder.
