MORNING BEARD LOVE

MORNING BEARD LOVE

We’ve heard of bed head; when you get up and your hair has flattened according to your head movements during the night. Well the same applies to beard hair. It is referred to as bed beard.

Whether or not we sleep for two hours or eight, the bed beard still shows up. These are a few simple steps to get rid of it and have your beard looking fresh and well taken care of.

Step 1: Brush

Nothing fancy here. Just brush your beard to straighten it and to get rid of the dead cells as well or any build up from your sheets and pillows. We suggest using a brush rather than a comb on dry hair.

Step 2: Water

Splash your beard with some water.

There are two options here:

  • Splash some water on your beard and keep brushing to make it easier for you to shape it and get rid of the beard bed.
  • If you are going into the shower anyway, you might as well just shampoo and do a proper beard cleaning. We recommend that you use beard shampoo once or twice a week for the best results.

*You can now comb through your beard to help spread the shampoo more.
Step 3: Moisturize & Oil
This step has always been and will always be the most important for your beard health. The same way your skin needs a moisturizer is the same way your beard hair needs beard balm and beard oil. No one wants an ashy beard right?
This is not only going to make your beard look great but it will also keep it feeling and smelling great all day and keep the dandruff and pimples away.
Step 4: Love on your person
Before you walk out the door/ before you go into the other room…
Kiss your partner. On the cheek, on the lips…wherever. Just give them an unexpected kiss/hug.
This will make your partner happy and will bring up a loving, happy mood in your home. Who doesn’t want that?
If you live alone…well, kiss your beautiful face in the mirror. Get yourself feeling loved and happy.
This step has nothing to do with bed beard, it will just add joy to your day.
The way you start your day has a lot to do with the way it will go. Start it right and you’re bound to have a great day ahead of you.
Mandevu’s got your morning covered!
