Why Getting a Mandevu Beard Brush is Important

Benefits of a Beard Brush

A beard brush is one of the most effective tool you could ever have in your beard grooming arsenal. It’s small, functional and fits perfectly in your hands. If you are new to the beard world, you want to start off with such equipment. By doing so, you significantly increase your chances of growing a healthy beard. Today we are going to look at some of the benefits of using our Mandevu beard brush. One of them being that it helps exfoliate skin.

Our skin among other organs go through a regenerative or renewal process. This is where the body decides to get rid of old skin cells and replaces them with new shiny ones. During this process, shaded skin can at times accumulate in your beard. Even after a good wash and comb, a small fraction of skin can still remain around your hair strands. Using our Mandevu beard brush helps remove such residue. The bristles work their way through every strand making sure nothing else is coating them other than sebum and beard oil.

Another benefit of having a beard brush is that it helps accentuate and defines your beard. We all know that one of the benefits of using a wide tooth wooden beard comb is that it helps get rid of tangles. Once that is done, you obviously want to style your beard and mustache. At that point employing the use of a beard brush is the best option. It helps you make everything look exquisite, especially if used with our beard balm to increase hold. Moreover, a beard brush helps with oil distribution much like a beard comb does. The only difference is that a beard brush is more efficient since the bristles are hair like and flexible.

How to clean your beard brush

If your brush is full of hair, dead skin cells, bacteria and other elements, chances are you are doing more harm than good to your beard. Ordinarily, you want a beard comb or brush to help you get rid of elements, not adding them to your beard.

  • Run your wooden beard comb through the rows of your beard brush. Use your fingers to remove stuck hair strands.
  • Gently push a small or narrow tooth comb from bristles roots to ends
  • Run warm water over the bristles to help wash off any residues that could not be taken out by hand.
  • Add some warm water into a flat-bottomed container, up to the level of the bristles on your brush. Do not soak the wooden part
  • Before putting your brush in the warm water, add a few drops of beard wash or shampoo and lather.
  • Carefully dip the bristles (only) in the water without getting the wooden handle wet. Let it seat for 2 - 3 minutes
  • Rinse off the lather with warm water. Make sure to shake the brush several times to get the water out.
  •  Place the brush in an open space and on a towel with the bristles facing down. Let it dry overnight.
